Method and procedure of detecting chloride ion content in boiler water

The chloride ion content in the boiler feed water is too high, which will work together with the dissolved oxygen to cause complex electrochemical corrosion, resulting in corrosion perforation and equipment accidents. Whether the chloride ion content in the boiler water exceeds the standard is particularly important. 1.Preparation of blank samples

Put 10.0mL distilled water in a clean special colorimetric tube, add 2.0mL reagent (1), shake well, add 3.0 mL reagent (2), shake well, stand static color for 10min, and test on the machine.

2. Preparation of the samples

When the chloride ion concentration is (chloride ion _L) 0.20 ~ 10.0mg/L: take 10.0mL sample to be tested in the cleaned special colortric tube, add 2.0 mL reagent (1), shake well, add 3.0 mL reagent (2), shake well with plug, static color for 10min.

When the chloride ion concentration is (chloride ion _H), 10.0 ~ 100 mg/L: take 1.0mL sample to be tested in the cleaned special colorimetric tube, add 9.0 mL of distilled water, add 2.0 mL of reagent (I), shake well, add 3.0 mL of reagent (2), shake well, and stand color for 10min.

3. Equipment boot

Connect the power cord and turn on the switch.

4. Blank measurement

Under the main menu, click "Curve Selection" and select the corresponding curve. 5. Sample measurement

Wipe the sample tube and put it in the color hole. Under the main menu, click "Sample Measurement" item for the instrument Enter the sample measurement interface, and directly display the chloride ion (chloride) concentration value (mg/L).

6. After the testing is completed

After the measurement is completed, clean the colorlet tube and dry for later use. Shutdown the device and disconnect the power supply.

7. Principle of measurement

The chloride ion (chloride) reacts with thiocyanate, and the exchanged thiocyanate ion reacts with the ferric iron ion to form a red iron thiocyanate complex, which is measured by spectrocomparison.
